How to Transfer Crypto from Bybit to OKX?

Thinking about moving your assets from Bybit EU to OKX? This guide walks you through every step of the process, clearly and safely.

Why Consider Sending Crypto from Bybit to OKX?

Competitive Fees for EEA Traders

OKX offers some of the most attractive spot trading fees available to European users. Maker fees start at 0.2% for users with a total balance or 30-day volume under €100,000, and can drop as low as 0.03% for high-volume traders.

See OKX's full EEA fee schedule here.

MiCA-Licensed Since January 2025

OKX obtained its MiCA license in January 2025, making it one of the first global exchanges to operate under the EU's comprehensive crypto regulatory framework. Regulated services are available across multiple EEA jurisdictions (excluding Iceland).

Trading Tools for Every Level

OKX caters to both newcomers and professional traders. The Simple Mode in the OKX app lets beginners buy crypto in seconds, while advanced users can switch to Exchange Mode for advanced products and trading strategies, such as Spot Margin (up to 10x leverage), automated Spot Grid bots, DCA bots, and more.

Transparent Proof of Reserves

OKX publishes regular global proof of reserves reports, confirming a 1:1 backing of all user assets. This gives you independent, verifiable assurance that your funds are fully covered.

Before You Send Crypto to OKX : What to Prepare?

As a regulated exchange, OKX operates under strict AML and CTF obligations. To ensure a seamless transfer:

  1. Verify that both your Bybit EU and OKX accounts have completed full KYC (identity verification)

  2. Ensure your personal details match across both platforms

  3. Have your OKX account ID or registered email address ready, in case it's needed for Travel Rule compliance

Step-by-Step: How to Send Crypto from Bybit EU to OKX?

Step 1: Get Your OKX Deposit Address

  1. Log in to your OKX account

  2. Navigate to Assets > Deposit

  3. Select the cryptocurrency you want to receive (e.g. ETH, BTC. SOL, USDC)

  4. Choose your preferred network (e.g. TRC-20, ERC-20, BEP-20)

  5. Copy your deposit address or use the QR code

*Important: Always verify the network before proceeding. Sending funds via the wrong network may result in a permanent, unrecoverable loss.

Step 2: Prepare Your Funds on Bybit EU for Withdrawal

Before withdrawing, make sure your crypto is held in your Funding Account on Bybit EU. If your assets are sitting in a Unified Trading Account or another sub-account, you'll need to transfer them to your Funding Account first via the Transfer function.

Step 3: Initiate an On-Chain Withdrawal on Bybit EU

  1. Log in to your Bybit EU account

  2. Click on Assets (top right corner of the homepage) and select Withdraw

  3. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to send

  4. Select On-Chain Withdrawal as the withdrawal method

  5. Enter or select your OKX deposit address

  6. Choose the same network you selected on OKX

  7. Enter the amount you want to withdraw

  8. Review the withdrawal fee and the final amount you will receive, then click Confirm

Important note: For certain coins like XRP, you may also need to enter a Tag or Memo when withdrawing. Check your OKX deposit page for this detail, omitting it can delay or lose your transfer.

Step 4: Complete Security Verification on Bybit EU

Bybit EU requires two-factor verification for on-chain withdrawals. You'll need to provide:

Your email verification code (click 'Send Verification Code' to receive it) Your Google Authenticator (2FA) code

If your OKX withdrawal address is already saved and verified in your Bybit EU address book, this verification step may be skipped automatically.

Step 5: Travel Rule Check (If Applicable)

For crypto transfers above €1,000 within the EEA, the Travel Rule requires both exchanges to share sender and recipient information. You may be asked to provide:

  • Your full name as registered on OKX

  • Your OKX account ID or registered email address

  • Confirmation that the destination wallet is yours

Depending on Bybit EU's internal compliance policies, this data may also be collected for transfers below the €1,000 threshold.

Step 6: Review and Confirm Your Withdrawal on Bybit

Before finalising, carefully check the following items:

  1. Recipient address (OKX deposit address)

  2. Selected network

  3. Transfer amount and fee

Complete Bybit's multi-step security verification. This includes your trading password, an email verification code, and your Google 2FA or SMS code. After completion, click 'Confirm' to submit.

Step 6: OKX Reviews the Incoming Transfer

Once your withdrawal is submitted on Bybit EU, OKX will receive the on-chain transaction and any relevant Travel Rule data. OKX's compliance team will run standard checks on incoming transfers. If your transaction is flagged, OKX may contact you for additional verification of your sending address or supporting documentation.

Step 7: Funds Are Credited to Your OKX Account

After the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain and clears compliance review, your crypto will be available in your OKX wallet. You can track the progress of your transfer via:

  • Bybit EU: Assets > Funding Account > History (Withdrawal tab)

  • OKX: Assets > Deposit History

Bybit EU processes withdrawals immediately in most occasions, though confirmation times vary depending on blockchain network traffic. Standard processing is typically completed within 30 minutes to one hour.
