How do I perform futures simulation transaction?

Contract trading requires more trading experience and knowledge compared to spot trade. OKX offers contract trading simulation on both the app and web platforms. New customers can practice trading in the simulation mode and proceed to official contract trading once they are familiar with the process.

App

1. Open the App Home, tap the [Full Function Center] icon in the upper left—select [demo trading].

2.Using the BTCUSDT perpetual contract as an example: Click the [Trade] pair box at the top left of the page [BTC/USDT ], then on the new page click the convert button to switch the trading mode—[Perpetual]—[USDT Contract]—and select [BTCUSDT Perpetual].

3. Go to the transaction page, you can choose [Buy to open long] or [Sell to open short].

Note: If you want to transaction with real funds, you can click [Return to Live Trading] at the top right of the page.

In the demo trading, you will have a certain quantity and amount of virtual transaction funds. After completing a transaction, when there are no open orders or positions, you can go to the simulated trading asset page, click the 'More' button above a specific coin, and select [Reset] to reset your simulated assets.

Note: If you want to conduct real transactions, you can click [Switch to Real Transaction] at the bottom of the page.

How do I reset my demo account assets?

Open the [Assets] page in the simulation account, select any digital asset, long press the asset, and in the pop-up page, click [Reset].
