When I worked at the Fed they used to have a "Distributed Ledger Round Table" every month or so. I invited ENS to give a virtual presentation. I worked in network security though, so I didn't have any influence over anything, and my coworkers were completely oblivious to crypto. I briefly worked on the FedNow project at its inception and I talked crypto with some of the architects, but it was too early, the L2 landscape was just starting to take shape. Their requirements for FedNow were crazy. I had a good time at the Fed, there's some good people over there. One of the reasons I left the Fed is because they wouldn't let me work on Project Hamilton (Boston's CBDC research project). Sometimes you're just early, and that's OK.
